I’ve seen your happy dance. Good times!
Of course, if I *were* there, I’d probably be doing the happy dance too. And that’s not for the faint of heart.
    Congratulations on finishing the book!

Oh, Deb, I can’t wait to see the finished product! I’m thrilled to have been with you through the process. You’ve written a beautiful book and your kids will be blown away. I have to disagree with one thing, though…I believe you may see it on the shelf at Barnes and Noble one day. You’re a talented writer. This is just the beginning!

I just re-read my comment. Did that come out right? It’s midnight and I’ve been up since 5 am, so my brain is fuzzy. Let me say it again to make sure it’s clear. You said it won’t ever be published. I think it will if you want it to be, because it really is an excellent story. There. That’s makes more sense!

Whah-hooh!!! I’m so happy for you! I can’t wait to read it –I can, can’t I??? By the way, did the happy dance resemble anything close to ‘king cuts’??? That would truly be worth seeing! Love you!
By the way, my ‘little hand’ scarf is keeping me nice and warm these days….

HUGELY, hugely impressed with you AND your book! Your kids are so blessed to have a mom like you-though they may have to grow up before they realize the specialness of Debra Mayhew, Writer for Children. :-)
